During my Intro to Jewelry course at SCAD, I designed and fabricated a hand-soldered, formed chain. Each link was individually shaped and soldered to ensure structural integrity and refined aesthetics. Integrating sand-casting techniques, I produced a bronze fishing-lure pendant featuring a flush-set cubic zirconia, which is incorporated as a focal element along the chain. The chain concludes with a bronze anchor, sculpted in clay and cast using the lost-wax/sand-casting process, providing a cohesive maritime motif and artisanal finish.
