Scorpion
Savannah, GA — October 2025
During my introductory jewelry course at SCAD, I designed and fabricated a three‑dimensional brooch composed of multiple interrelated elements. The piece was constructed through forming and soldering techniques, incorporating riveted joints to allow for articulated, moving legs. A tube‑set stone provides a refined focal point, and the brooch secures with a double‑pin fastening for stability and wearability. Throughout the project I applied precision metalworking, cold connections, and finishing processes to unify the components into a cohesive, wearable object.
