Photography

Saint Marys, GA — November 2024 To November 2025

My work explores the complex relationship between nature and human impact, with a particular focus on coastal environments. While drawn to the raw beauty and behavior of ocean wildlife, I intentionally document the contrasts that define these spaces: graceful birds, tidal patterns, and the shifting light of the shore set against the persistent presence of pollution and discarded waste.

Shot exclusively with a CANON EOS R100, each photograph aims to balance aesthetic composition with documentary intent. I use framing, texture, and natural light to highlight both the resilience of wildlife and the intrusion of man-made debris—plastic, fishing gear, and everyday refuse—that alters habitats and threatens ecosystems.

This collection is split between two series, both featured below. These series are not simply an indictment; they are a visual invitation to witness and reflect. By juxtaposing beauty and blight, these images ask viewers to consider the consequences of consumption and the urgency of stewardship. My goal is to create photographs that function as both aesthetic experiences and catalysts for conversation and change.
